How you get here
Use an available Cathedral beam after the Womb finale. Early access can depend on the run's doorway and progression state.
Prepare before the checkpoint
- For the standard Chest route, carry The Polaroid.
- Check your protection and fight plan before Isaac's arena.
Related item rules: route tools and exceptions mentioned in this guide. Read each effect before relying on it.
The PolaroidCheckpoint and exit
Defeat Isaac. Five Isaac victories unlock The Polaroid for later runs.
Enter the post-fight chest with The Polaroid for the standard Chest route; without the route item, it can end the run.
