Before you start
Defeat Mother once to unlock the route to Home.
Route steps
Follow the route
- Step 01
Reach the Ascent
Open A Strange Door on Depths II with The Polaroid, The Negative or Faded Polaroid, then pick up Dad's Note.
- Step 02
Bring a key
Use Red Key, Cracked Key or Soul of Cain at the left wall of the hallway just before Mom's bedroom in Home. A trinket dropped in a Boss Room or Treasure Room before Dad's Note becomes a Cracked Key during the Ascent.
- Step 03
Enter the hidden room
Go through the opened door and touch the character inside. The tainted form matches the non-tainted character you brought to Home.
Keep in mind
- Do this before entering Mom's bedroom.
- A fresh Red Key can be found in Mom's chest on the first Home visit; the trinket route helps on later visits.
