Eden:
Random starts and Eden Tokens

Check Eden's token cost, inspect the random starting tools and choose one of the three items offered by ordinary Birthright.

Understand the system

Read the build you received before choosing its first risk.

A fresh start spends a token

Starting an Eden run consumes one Eden Token. Mom's Heart, It Lives, Ultra Greed and The Beast award tokens when defeated. Check your available count before another fresh start.

Inspect the actual tools

Eden starts with random stats, an active and a passive. Read the health bar, attack and held effects before deciding what the run needs. Ordinary Eden has no innate damage-triggered build reroll.

Birthright offers one reward

Optional Birthright generates three random item choices. Taking one removes the other two. Compare the offers before collecting one.

Yum Heart is a stated hypothetical starting tool, not a guaranteed Eden item. Birthright is optional. The token example has no artwork; item icons identify the other example tools. The token example starts a fresh ordinary run and excludes special modes.

Before the next action

  1. Use the first safe room to inspect health, attack speed and item descriptions. Identify the most urgent weakness.
  2. Check active charge before planning an activation. A familiar item can be useful even with an unfamiliar set of stats.
  3. Compare a choice with the build you have now. Avoid treating a famous item as automatically useful for every start.
