Apollyon:
Void absorption and stored activations

Separate passive absorption from stored active effects, then plan Void uses around the charge and items actually in the room.

Understand the system

Choose what to keep before spending Void.

Passives become stat rolls

Apollyon starts with Void. Absorbing a passive removes the pedestal and grants two random stat boosts instead of its original passive effect. They are not a guaranteed damage upgrade. Inspect a useful item before trading it for uncertain stats.

Actives become stored uses

Absorbed active abilities are stored for later Void uses; their passive side effects are not acquired. Later activations run the stored effects together in absorption order. Read each effect before adding it to future uses.

Check the whole room

Void has a six-room base recharge and consumes eligible room pedestals. Unpaid items are not free absorption targets. Linked choices provide one absorbed choice, with alternatives disappearing. A use can also replay previously stored effects, so room contents matter.

Void is the starting active. Yum Heart is an optional stored healing example, not an Apollyon starting item. Cases assume one free pedestal, no linked choices, charge modifiers, Birthright or other stored effects.

Practice the decision

What changes after this action?

These are fixed teaching examples with stated conditions. Choose an action and compare what you have before and after it.

Apollyon

Absorb one free ordinary passive

Before

Apollyon; fully charged Void; one free passive pedestal; no other stored effects

After

Passive pedestal consumed; two random stat boosts awarded

The original passive effect is not acquired, and a chosen stat already at its cap can waste that part of the benefit.

Check before acting: Take a useful known effect normally when it is worth more than the uncertain rolls.

Void is the starting active. Yum Heart is an optional stored healing example, not an Apollyon starting item. Cases assume one free pedestal, no linked choices, charge modifiers, Birthright or other stored effects.

This reference does not read your save, calculate a crafting recipe or simulate an arbitrary inventory, health bar, queue or combat state.

Before the next action

  1. Decide which free pedestals you want to take normally before activating. Compare the value of a known effect with two unknown stat improvements.
  2. Before storing an active, read its behavior and any consumption or harm it can cause. Single-use abilities do not become unlimited uses.
  3. Before each activation, check charge, free pedestals and stored abilities together. For healing, confirm missing red health instead of assuming a ready Void must be useful.
