How to fight Rag Man
Rag Man turns his rolling head into Raglings, then revives their remains while restoring his own health.
Normal boss behavior in Repentance. Champion variants can change these patterns.
Before entering
Keep room to dodge a homing shot and a Ragling at the same time. Damage the thrown head when you can reach it safely.
- 1
Rolling head
Watch for: His thrown head rolls toward Isaac before becoming a Ragling.
Try: Shoot it while stepping out of its path; damage to the head also hurts Rag Man and the resulting Ragling.
- 2
Homing projectile
Watch for: The headless body wanders and occasionally fires a homing shot.
Try: Track the curved shot while handling the head instead of watching only the nearest enemy.
- 3
Revival and healing
Watch for: Rag Man can revive nearby Ragling remains and heal himself during the same action.
Try: Keep pressure on the boss when safe, then clear revived Raglings that block your movement.
