How to enter Normal Room

Follow the ordinary doors connecting the floor. Many rooms lock while enemies are alive.

What you can find

Rewards and opportunities

A cleared enemy room normally charges your active item and may drop a pickup or trinket.

Before you commit

The risk to plan around

A clear does not remove every hazard. Spikes, fires, and some indestructible enemies can still hurt you.

  • Check the map for unexplored branches before taking the floor exit.
  • Some layouts use buttons or other conditions to open their doors.
