In-game pickup line
“Wealth... but at what cost?”
Mechanics
What Contract from Below does
- Most awarded room-clear pickups come in pairs.
- About one third of eligible room clears produce nothing instead.
In a run
Practical note
Over many rooms the extra pickups can add up, though a single floor may have unlucky empty clears.
