How you get here
The ordinary alternate-path entrance costs two full hearts, with special-character exceptions. The Ascent route also uses a special Mausoleum II.
Prepare before the checkpoint
- Treat the entrance payment separately from ordinary combat damage; The Wafer does not reduce it.
- On the Mother route, confirm both Knife Pieces before reaching Mom.

The WaferCheckpoint and exit
On the Mother route, use the assembled knife on the flesh door after Mom and defeat the special heart encounter.
The opened flesh-door route leads to Corpse. The special Dad's Note route starts the Ascent instead.
