Recognize it and read the attack
A headless walking torso with a vertical opening.
Wanders, then charges a Brimstone beam when Isaac aligns with it horizontally or vertically.
What makes it dangerous
The beam occupies a whole lane rather than one moving projectile.
A suggested response
- Leave its aligned row or column as it charges.
- Attack from an offset angle while keeping another escape lane open.
Check the other enemies before committing to this response. Obstacles, your weapon and your character can change the safest angle.
The mistake to avoid
Running directly away down the lane the laser is about to fill.
Leave the firing axis before the beam fills it.
Compare the family
A shared family does not guarantee the same attack or death effect.
