Recognize it and read the attack
A frightened humanoid whose eyes widen as it retreats.
Runs away from Isaac without ordinary contact damage. Death releases flies, sometimes including a Pooter. A self-detonation also sends shots in the four cardinal directions.
What makes it dangerous
The fleeing body can leave active enemies or a projectile burst in the space you were about to cross.
A suggested response
- Leave space for the flies released on death.
- If it self-detonates, check the horizontal and vertical shot lanes before approaching.
Check the other enemies before committing to this response. Obstacles, your weapon and your character can change the safest angle.
The mistake to avoid
Running into its position as soon as its body disappears.
Leave room for the hazard triggered by the final hit.
