Grows until it can spray a cluster of blood shots. Hits shrink it, but it recovers unless completely destroyed.
What makes it dangerous
Scattered damage can leave several growing shooters active at once.
A suggested response
- Finish one Boil when you can do so safely.
- Leave room for the shot cluster when a nearby Boil reaches full size.
Check the other enemies before committing to this response. Obstacles, your weapon and your character can change the safest angle.
The mistake to avoid
Assuming a shrunken Boil is already dead.
Finish the remaining stage before it recovers.
