Repentance · Chests
Old Chest
A worn chest that can reward Soul Hearts, trinkets, or an item from its own pool or the Angel Room pool.
Value / opening ruleCosts 1 key
How it works
- Possible payouts include 1–3 Soul Hearts or three trinkets.
- Its item rewards use different pools from a normal Locked Chest.
Before you collect
It requires a key even though its worn appearance differs from a golden chest.
Recognize the chest
Original game frames. Mimic and Haunted Chests resemble an ordinary chest before their behavior reveals the hazard.
