Bomb or break
- Ordinary tears do not extinguish it; a bomb is the standard way to break it.
- In Repentance, a destroyed blue or purple fire has a 25% Soul Heart chance on Normal and 10% on Hard.
- It fires a homing projectile once per room entry in Repentance.
Before you act
A bomb does not guarantee a Soul Heart. Re-entering the room can expose you to another shot.
Practical choice
Look for a blast that covers several flames and stay clear of the explosion.
