Mechanics
What 4.5 Volt does
- Clearing a room no longer supplies the normal active-item charge.
- Damaging enemies fills the charge bar gradually, with more damage required for a charge on later floors.
In a run
Practical note
An active item can recharge during a long fight if you continue dealing damage.
