Metal Wire

Metal Wire is required to convert a Fence into an openable Gate. You also need Pliers to perform the modification.

1. Build a Fence section first.
2. Attach Metal Wire to the Fence.
3. Hold Pliers.
4. Use the gate modification action.
5. Attach a Combination Lock afterward if you want to secure the Gate.

Metal Wire is one of the materials used during the final construction stage of a Flag Pole.

1. Deploy and build the earlier Flag Pole stages first.
2. Attach Metal Wire during the pole stage.
3. Attach the other required materials.
4. Use the correct construction tool to finish the stage.

Metal Wire can be recovered from Barbed Wire by using Pliers.

1. Find Barbed Wire.
2. Hold Pliers.
3. Use the Pliers on the Barbed Wire.
4. Recover Metal Wire.

Metal Wire can be attached to a Car Battery to help power compatible electrical items.

1. Attach Metal Wire to the Car Battery.
2. Connect a compatible electrical item.
3. Use the setup for lighting or other supported electrical utility.

Metal Wire can be used to restrain another player, similar to Handcuffs or Duct Tape.

1. Have Metal Wire in your hands.
2. Target the restrained player interaction when available.
3. Use a sharp or cutting tool to remove restraints when needed.

Damaged Metal Wire can be repaired with Duct Tape or an Electrical Repair Kit.
