Hacksaw

Use the Hacksaw on Wooden Logs to create Planks for construction and base building.

1. Find or place Wooden Logs on the ground.
2. Equip the Hacksaw.
3. Use the cut action on the Wooden Logs.
4. Collect the Planks created from the log.

The Hacksaw can gather Planks from Lumber Piles found around the map.

1. Find a Lumber Pile.
2. Equip the Hacksaw.
3. Use the saw action on the Lumber Pile.
4. Collect the Planks produced.

Use the Hacksaw to create sawed-off variants of certain firearms.

1. Place a compatible firearm in your hands or inventory.
2. Combine it with the Hacksaw.
3. Use the crafting prompt to create the sawed-off variant.

The Hacksaw can release a restrained player from Duct Tape, Rope, or Handcuffs.

1. Equip the Hacksaw.
2. Approach the restrained player.
3. Use the cut restraints action.
4. Confirm the player is released.

The Hacksaw can open canned food, but some food will be spilled.

1. Hold the canned food or the Hacksaw.
2. Combine the Hacksaw with the can.
3. Open the can and expect 10% to 40% food loss.

Use a Sharpening Stone to repair a damaged Hacksaw.

1. Place the Hacksaw in your hands or inventory.
2. Combine it with a Sharpening Stone.
3. Repair it until it reaches a better condition state.
