Repair Overview
Repairing gear keeps your best items usable longer and helps you avoid losing important equipment to bad condition.
Use the Right Kit
Most item types have a preferred repair kit. Clothing usually uses Sewing Kits, weapons use Gun Cleaning Kits, and tools use Sharpening Stones.
Ruined Means Replace
Most items cannot be repaired once they reach ruined condition. Try to repair valuable gear before it gets too damaged.
Repair Before Big Trips
Fix shoes, guns, blades, bags, and NBC gear before traveling far, entering gas zones, or committing to a long loot run.

Sewing Kit
Cloth clothing, hats, bags, tents
Best used on soft clothing items like shirts, pants, gloves, hats, backpacks, armbands, tents, rags, and burlap gear.
Leather Sewing Kit
Shoes, boots, leather gear, vests
Used for footwear, leather clothing, leather backpacks, holsters, knife sheaths, and many vest types.
Duct Tape
Backup repair for many items
A flexible repair option for clothing, bags, NBC pieces, waterproof gear, and some utility items. Save it when possible because it has many uses.
Epoxy Putty
Helmets, armor, hard gear
Used on helmets, ballistic protection, stab vests, plate carriers, crossbows, and other hard protective gear.
Sharpening Stone
Knives, axes, saws, tools
Repairs bladed tools and many melee tools, including knives, axes, saws, bayonets, machetes, sickles, crowbars, screwdrivers, and farming tools.
Gun Cleaning Kit
Firearms, pistols, magazines
Repairs most guns, pistols, and magazines. Carrying one is very useful if you rely on firearms for PvP, hunting, or infected control.
Electrical Repair Kit
Electronics, optics, batteries
Repairs batteries, radios, lights, optics, generators, wire, barbed wire, and other electrical or utility gear.
Tire Repair Kit
NBC gear, drybags, wheels
Used for NBC pieces, drybags, waterproof bags, and vehicle-related rubberized gear such as wheels.

Clothing & Soft Gear

Tops, Pants & Gloves
BDU jackets, combat pants, hoodies, hunter clothing, raincoats, wool gloves, working gloves, and most regular clothing.
Headwear
Balaclavas, bandanas, beanies, baseball caps, boonie hats, cowboy hats, ushankas, and most soft headwear.
Backpacks & Bags
Assault backpacks, field backpacks, school backpacks, hiking backpacks, burlap courier bags, and most cloth backpacks.
Tents & Burlap Gear
Car tents, large tents, medium tents, burlap sacks, rags, mouth rags, and similar soft utility items.
Leather Gear & Footwear
Leather Sewing Kits are mostly for shoes, boots, leather gear, and many vests.
Shoes & Boots
Assault boots, combat boots, hiking boots, hunter boots, jungle boots, dress shoes, running shoes, sneakers, and working boots.
Leather Clothing & Bags
