How to use this item
Place a Bear Trap
Bear Traps are placed on the ground and trigger when a player, infected, animal, or vehicle interacts with them.
- Hold the Bear Trap in your hands.
- Choose a hidden or high-traffic spot.
- Place the trap on the ground.
- Avoid stepping on it yourself after placement.
- Check the trap later if you are using it to defend an area.
Use for base defense
Bear Traps are useful around doors, walls, gates, ladders, stash routes, and other predictable movement paths.
- Place the trap somewhere players are likely to walk.
- Hide it in grass, brush, shadows, or clutter if possible.
- Avoid placing it where you or teammates will accidentally step on it.
