Quick item summary
Quick answer
The Epinephrine Auto-Injector is a medical injector used in emergency recovery situations. It can immediately wake an unconscious survivor if they are not dead and are above the minimum consciousness threshold, but it will not solve the underlying cause of blood loss or injury by itself.
In-game description
“A pen of adrenaline for intramuscular injection. Improves breathing, stimulates the heart and raises dropping blood pressure”
Main Uses
- Wake an unconscious survivor
- Restore shock to help a player regain consciousness
- Temporarily remove stamina consumption for one minute
- Help stabilize emergency situations after blood loss
- Support group medical play during combat or accidents
- Give a short window to move, escape, or continue treatment
How to use this item
Wake an unconscious player
Use the Epinephrine Auto-Injector on an unconscious survivor to help wake them up. It will not work on dead players, and it will not save someone who is still below the minimum blood threshold for consciousness.
- Check that the player is unconscious, not dead.
- Stop active bleeding if possible.
- Use the Epinephrine Auto-Injector on the unconscious player.
- Continue treatment after they wake up.
Use after blood loss carefully
If a player is unconscious from blood loss, Epinephrine may not wake them until they are above the minimum blood threshold. Use Saline or an IV Blood Bag first if needed.
- Stop bleeding first.
- Use Saline or compatible IV Blood if the player has severe blood loss.
- Use Epinephrine once they can be revived.
- Keep monitoring blood and health after they wake up.
Use for stamina
Epinephrine also removes stamina consumption for one minute, making it useful for emergency movement, escape, or repositioning.
